Pasar Senen on Fire

Pasar Senen on fire is a pretty horrendous event of that time. I have not actually slept when the mobile phone rings because some news channels that I have subcibed popping up some breaking news notification told the legendary market in Jakarta has been destroyed by fire since 3 AM. 
I immediately prepared my camera and go to the location. Arriving there, Pasar Senen was already covered with dark fire and smoke cloud. Some buildings are even out of shape. 


I started taking photos as much as I could. This was the first time I cover a story about great fire. I saw a mother with her child running towards me while shouting about their wares. I want to help her daughter but I have to take photos and stay focus. My eyes was going to red because of the thick smoke. At that time, I hesitate, what should I do? Should I give my protective goggle to her or not. Finally, I knew that she was helped, a volunteer gave her a mask. I feel guilty but yes, never mind, I know she was finally helped and she was all right.
